This is not your ordinary phone booth so save your quarter (or nowadays dollar), because you won’t be calling a friend from this booth anytime soon.

This telephone booth was transformed into an aquarium by artists Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino as part of the Lyon Light Festival in France.

“With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically colored fish; an invitation to escape and travel.“  We always knew those intelligent civil engineers would find use for those phone booth dinosaurs.
