NOH8 Campaign

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic “silent” protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska ( and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8, a 2008 amendment to the state Constitution which bans same-sex marriages. Photos feature subjects with duct tape covering their mouths, and NOH8 painted on their cheeks in protest to their voices being silenced by the controversial Prop 8.
