Yosemite National Park
L.A. based exotic locale photographer Michael Sikov made a trip to Yosemite National Park recently, and the results are simply gorgeous.
Never satisfied with photographing landmarks from traditional vantage points, the ambitious lensman climbs, crawls, and perseveres until he is in position for what he feels is a perfectly unique framing of his beautiful subject matter. Seen here grabbing a shot of one of Yosemite’s crown jewels, Vernal Falls, the photog ventured throughout the park, capturing other landmarks such as the famed Old Faithful geyser, and El Capitan, one of the park’s most majestic mountain sentinels.
Sikov grew up in the geographical playground that is southern California, where he honed his pic taking skills on his father’s camera. Shooting roll after roll, he enjoyed expressing himself through his lens, and learned to find beauty in places most others would not think to look.
Sharing these images and places has become a passion of Michael, and has led him to countless locations throughout the world…
Michael has visited and shot 24 of the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, St John, Jamaica, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, Israel, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Bosnia, Croatia, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, The Maldives, Dubai: UAE, & Mauritius.
Who knows where he will go next, but we may soon be asking to accompany him on his next trip.
